Tabitha - Brittany & Handy American Curl Kitten |
DOB 3/12/24.

Tabitha is Brittany's seal lynx point and white girl. I originally called Tabitha a seal lynx point girl, but sometimes we can see colors in the pictures that aren't as apparent with the lighting in the nursery. Because mom is a bicolor, these lighter colors on Tabitha could very likely show up more over the next few weeks. These are just a few of our first photos of Brittany's babies. We will be updating with more pics and a few short videos in a week or two.
Brittany and Handy...
Brittany is a bicolor... frequently called a "calico" although that's not an accepted color designation in either CFA or TICA. She is one of our smaller girls and has always, ALWAYS giving us incredible babies in colors and personality. Brittany absolutely ADORES me and she always teaches that same affection for us to her kids. Babies learn a lot from their moms from the day they are born. Babies will model what they see in their moms. Brittany has always taught her babies to welcome our attention from the first times we start to handle them.

"Handy" is a seal lynx point boy. He is a Grand Champion in CFA. We had so much fun showing him. He was absolutely beautiful and he knew it. The judges loved him, but even more than that, people would stop and ooh and ahhh over him whenever we would have his laying on our grooming stand in from of our benching cage. He would just sit there and pose for them as if to say, "Yes, I'm so pretty. Feel free to admire me." Handy has always had a great personality and he always passes that same sweet temperament on to his kids.

4/24... Tabitha is one of the most interesting of Brittany's babies. The bicolors always are. She has this swirl of colors all over her body, She's as playful as her coloring. Some of these pictures below make her look darker than she really is... that's because of the lighting in the room. The best photo to show her true colors is the one where Mike is holding her in front of him. All these kittens are a kick to watch, but I'll have to say, it seems like whenever the kittens are in play mode, Tabitha will ALWAYS be somewhere in the mix. She's super friendly. Whenever I come into the room, all I have to do is say something like "hi, babies" and Tabitha is going to be front and center wanting me to pick her up. And with that face, she's impossible to resist. Tabitha is going to be one of those kitties that thinks everyone who comes into the home is coming to see her. She's already that way.
Be sure to look for more pictures of Tabitha on the other kitten pages. I took a lot of these pictures with 2-3 kittens on the bed playing at a time.

4/12... These are the new photos of Tabitha. She was so focused on the little toy Mike was teasing her with that I had a hard time getting good face shots of her. It's hard to really see how pretty her face is when she's focused on the toy. When Mike would lift the toy to get her to lift her head, she would spot the toy's shadow and she still wouldn't lift her head up. I did manage to get a few to show you her face. Photos will enlarge if you click on them on a tablet or desktop.
