Toby- Brittany & Handy American Curl Kitten |
DOB 3/12/24.

Toby is a dark blue boy with enough white on face and toes to say he's a 'blue and white bicolor", but there's so little white on him that I'm going to call him just blue. He's a dark blue though. He's got just a faint amount of white eye liner that makes his eyes pop. The white around the eyes and the white around the mouth gives his a LOT of character. These are just a few of our first photos of Brittany's babies. we took last week. I've just been slow at getting his page started. We will be updating with more pics and a few short videos next week.
Brittany and Handy...
Brittany is a bicolor... frequently called a "calico" although that's not an accepted color designation in either CFA or TICA. She is one of our smaller girls and has always, ALWAYS giving us incredible babies in colors and personality. Brittany absolutely ADORES me and she always teaches that same affection for us to her kids. Babies learn a lot from their moms from the day they are born. Babies will model what they see in their moms. Brittany has always taught her babies to welcome our attention from the first times we start to handle them.

"Handy" is a seal lynx point boy. He is a Grand Champion in CFA. We had so much fun showing him. He was absolutely beautiful and he knew it. The judges loved him, but even more than that, people would stop and ooh and ahhh over him whenever we would have his laying on our grooming stand in from of our benching cage. He would just sit there and pose for them as if to say, "Yes, I'm so pretty. Feel free to admire me." Handy has always had a great personality and he always passes that same sweet temperament on to his kids.

4/25... Toby is a blue tabby boy, but except for on his legs, you're really not going to see a lot of tabby markings. His dramatic thick white eye liner combined with the white around his mouth and chin just pops. Toby is everything you could say about a boy kitty. He loves to play and when he's wrestling with another kitten, you'll usually find Toby on top. It's not that he picks on any of the other kittens, he's just the guy that is always game and throws everything he has into the competition.
4/16.... As an update on Brittany and her babies, we've brought the babies into our 12ft triple cage in the master bedroom. They have been eating solid food and using the litter box for several weeks now and Brittany has made it very clear that her lunch truck is closed. After 1 night in the master bedroom, Brittany demanded that she be relieved of her full time mom duties so she is out an about the house now. We'll let her back to visit if she shows signs of separation anxiety, but so far, she's happy being able to stretch her legs and inspect the rest of the house. Oh, and babies could care less. They are having a ball on the 3 call condos we have in that cage.
