Chalice... |
Curl Essence Silver Chalice ("Chalice") is a 7 yr old retired queen.
|
Chalice has found a new forever home and we couldn't be happier about who has adopted her. Her new mom is a long time curl owner who has recently lost her beloved curl.. I'm leaving this page active so she can continue looking at her pictures until we can ship Chalice to her new home.

We put this background up to take pictures of Colette's new babies but when I went back to take it down, Chalice had decided it looked like a comfy place to curl up on.

Chalice is a quiet, sweet kitty. She likes to sleep at the foot of the bed at night or next to us when we're watching TV in the living room. If we already have a cat on top of us, she will usually jump up on the sofa behind our heads. She gets along with all the other cats and never starts any squabbles. Some of the whole girls can get a little "testy" from time to time... mostly just expressing their dominance
Chalice can't get enough attention if you're willing to give it. She's not a particularly large girl... probably right around 6-6.5lb. (We haven't weighed her for awhile but we're pretty good at estimating weights.) She would probably fit well in a home with a mellow dog or another older cat. She gets along with all the cats. It's just than some of our "whole" females can turn into bullies from time to time. Hormonal queens can be sort of like having a hormonal teenager in the house from time to time, but not Chalice. She has always been a sweetie. She's just an easy kitty to have around, and so, soo!! loving. She really appreciates any attention we give her.

.Chalice hadn't been groomed or even brushed for a REALLY long time when we took these pictures. This is her every-day ungroomed look. I don't even remember ever having to brush out any mats on her. She's a really easy keeper. We would love to have her go to a nice home.
