Brittany and Handy family... |
Brittany's babies were born on 8/24. She has 3 little CP girls and 1 CP boy.

Personality: Diva is super sweet, but not as outgoing as Dusty and Dawn. She plays with them, but when they start getting rough, she says, 'enough' and takes off for quieter surroundings. I've been spending extra time with Diva in the bedroom in the morning and at night with her favorite mouse toy. We've gotten into quit a routine. She waits for the more rambunctious kitties to leave the room, so I can pull out her favorite toy and play with her by herself. When she doesn't have to compete with the cats that will bounce on top of her to get to the toy, she's as playful as any of the others. She just doesn't like the rough play that we get when we have a group of kitties fighting to catch the toy. Diva is a more sensitive girl. She will blend better in a quieter home. She would be ok with other pets as long as they aren't rowdy. She loves to have her back rubbed, but again, a loud or sudden noise, and she's likely to take off for a safer place. Once she realizes there as nothing to be afraid of, she's back ready to continue our little private game. I'll continue to work with her every day to show her that she doesn't have to be afraid of new things or sudden noises. She would be a perfect pet for someone who has a quiet home and just wants a kitty that will show her appreciation for a 'safe' place to live.
We want to make sure Diva finds just the right home. More than most of our kittens, Diva is extremely sensitive. Because of that, for the right person who can give her the special attention she needs, we have decided to offer special pricing for Diva. If you think that your home could be the right environment for Diva, please email me so we can talk on the phone, or just call me. I'm not always near my phone so if I don't answer right away, please leave me a VM so I can return your call.

12/27... I took these new pics and videos this morning when Diva came in for her morning play time. We kicked all the big cats out of the room so she would have the toy to herself. When we play with her one on one, you can see from the videos that she's as playful as the other kittens... she just doesn't like having the other cats jumping on top of her to get to the toy first. Our cats can get really competitive. Diva just isn't. She a quiet spirit. Diva is a beautiful seal lynx point girl. Unlike Dusty, her coat is very light colored. You can see the dark markings against the lighter body colors.
I took this first video after Mike had gone downstairs. Diva was still on the bed playing with this little white mouse toy. I laid on the bed next to her with my phone and took this closeup video. Diva is so pretty. She is much lighter than Dusty but still have the same markings. I took a couple still photos of her body coat to show how light she is with that darker seal contrast.
12/7... Diva is such a sweetie, but she's not as aggressive or competitive as the other kittens. She is perfectly happy to play by herself with her toy or just snuggle with her humans. Here are a few photos I took of her this morning when we were shooting the crew.
12/2... Diva is Brittany's seal lynx point girl. She is going to look just like her dad when she grows up. Of the 3 Brittany kittens available, Diva is the quieter and sweeter of the 3. We put Dusty out in the rest of the house because he was just to rough with the girls. They would play with him, but he's all boy. He's got that solid body of a boy and these 2 are all girl. Of the 2 girls, I really should have named them differently, but when I pick names, they are usually around 3-4 weeks old and there's very little we can say about their personalities. Diva wants attention, but she doesn't want to get in trouble doing something I've scolded them for (like walking on top of the headboard where I have things that can fall and break). We've figured out over the years how to 'kitten proof' our rooms. That being said, there are some places that are 'off limits'... very few, but still. Both of these girls are more than sweet. As soon as either one of them sees us paying attention to them, they will stop and come of for us to pet on them.
