Blizzard's mom is CH Curl Essene Brittany Brittany is a bicolor... frequently called a "calico" although that's not an accepted color designation in either CFA or TICA. She is one of our smaller girls and has always, ALWAYS giving us incredible babies in colors and personality. Brittany absolutely ADORES me and she always teaches that same affection for us to her kids. Babies learn a lot from their moms from the day they are born. Babies will model what they see in their moms.
Blizzard's dad is a Double Grand Champion in TICA. His full name and title is DGC Curl Essence Dream on My Curl, or "Dreamer". I use this photo of him because it shows his loving personality. Dreamer is just as loving as this photo of him shows.

8/3... I'm working on getting updated photos of all the kittens for you, but some are harder to get nice pics of than others. These kittens are all too big to use the countertop display that we use when they are little so I tried for pictures on the bed. Charlotte's 3 silvers are VERY outgoing which means that little Jelly gets over powered. I did get these few of him while I had Charlotte's 3 distracted. Jelly is going to look a lot like his dad when he matures. He's also going to carry that sweet, sensitive personality of his dad. If you are interested in Jelly, keep watching his page this week. I'm going to be working on new pictures and videos of all these babies all this week. BTW, Jelly can go to his forever home anytime. He's smaller that his littermate, Remmy... closer to the same size as Charlotte's babies. Dreamer is also a smaller boy so it makes total sense that Jelly would be a smaller boy too. Also..re: lighting. I'm only using the nature light coming in the windows so his coat may appear a little darker than it really is.
7/5.... Below are my new photos and videos of Jelly Bean. He is such a sweet boy. He's super gentle. We've checked his sex over and over again because he's just too gentle and sweet to be a boy, but he is. We took these new videos today and right after, we took the videos of Blizzard. Now, that's a boy! The videos below tell you everything you could want to know about Jelly's personality.
6/25... Jelly is a quieter kitten. He's a sweetie and he'll frequently play chase with his littermates, but he doesn't seem to like to rough house with them as much as they do. When the other kittens start wrestling and getting rough with each other, Jelly will go off to the side and just watch. When the Bliz, Toots and Bowie finally slow down, Jelly will take this opportunity to find toys to play with by himself.

6/24... Brittany's babies are almost ready to go to their forever homes. They will have their 2nd FVRCP vaccination on 7/7. They think they are ready now. It's becoming impossible to keep them in the master bedroom anymore. As soon as they hear the door open, they jam down the hallway so we have to chase them down to bring them back. The first out the door are always Tootsie and Blizzard. We don't usually let the kittens have the run of the entire house this young, but Brittany's babies are convinced that they should be able to have the run of the house. We'll be adding new pics and maybe some video before the weekend.
6/17... Our plan today was to get individual pics of Brittany's and Bellabee's babies... When they have the run of the entire room, it can be hard to corral one at a time for pictures... especially with Taffy dominating the scene. I did get some cute updated pictures and a video of Taffy. Jelly was the only Brittany kitten that we could settle down enough to get you some new pics of her. Here are the few Jelly pics I got today.
6/16... All 4 of Brittany's kittens will get their 1st FVRCP today. They will get their 2nd booster on 7/7. They can go to their new homes anytime after they receive that 2nd FVRCP. Once they are worn out from their morning playtime, they will probably go back into the big cage and curl up in a favorite place for an afternoon nap. The master bedroom cage has 2 8ft condos on each end both of which have a "house" in them, plus a 3ft between them with 3 little cubby holes and 1 more small angled ramp in front... all to make sure they have lots of things to learn to balance and strengthen they muscles. For our kittens, it's all about safety and health while we socialize them to their humans. We should have some great new pics and videos for you tomorrow.

Little Jelly is just started to eat the web food this morning. She's a little "scruffy" in these videos but that's just because mom's about done cleaning the babies.... Brittany still spends the night in the cage with the babies for the few that still need a "night cap", but we're letting her spend most of the day out with us to encourage the kittens to eat the dry food in the cage.

I took these pictures while they were napping. The only way I can get pictures of Brittany's babies is to lure here away with a dish of canned food to get her away from the babies. She's such an attention hog. Brittany had 4 babies. I took a couple of close ups of her as they were waking up. The darker CP is a boy. He's probably going to look a lot like Handy. Handy is on our Champion Hall page, but he's also the boy on our banner on the home page. Brittany's 4th kitten is a little red boy. He was reserved months before he was even born. There's something about our red boys. Once you've had a neutered red boy, you're going to be sold on our red boys. Brittany gladly adopted Bellabee's babies. Many of these pictures include Bellabee's 2 babies. The photos with closer shots of Bellabee's will be on Bellabee's page.

Brittany's babies are just starting to open their eyes. She has 1 red boy (SOLD), 2 color point boys and 1 color point girl.
Bellabee's 2 dark boys were born last Sunday (4/25). Brittany adopted Bellabee's 2 babies when Bellabee decided she couldn't take care of her 2 babies. Bellabee's babies are the 2 black kittens in the photos below. |
These weren't really clear. My primary goal was to check for sexes on Brittany's 4 and take a first quick look at Bellabee's 2 babies. It's really early to determine sex on Bellabee's. I thought they both looked like boys, but looking at the photo below on the right, the one in front where you can see the face could be a girl because of that red strip alone the nose. Also (and it's really early to make much of prediction, but....) it's beginning to look like 2 of Brittany's CPs could be seal points. They are starting to show some seal markings on their little faces, tails and undercoat.

Reserving a kitten from a future litter...
We are taking reservations for future kittens now. We reserve the right for first pick of any of our litters for ourselves to show, however, if you reserve a kitten from a future litter, you will have first pick (after us of course). Anyone with a Reserve Agreement can wait for future litter if they want to wait for a kitten from another litter .
