Trixie...Brittany and Handy girl |
Trixie is a dark blue and white girl.

Brittany is a pretty little calico girl. We had intended to show her, but Brittany was one of those "tom girls" as a youngster. She was convinced she was unbreakable and could swing from the chandeliers. She was in one of her "fly through the air" moods one day and as she leaped from the top of one of our tall bookshelves, a bookend followed her down and fell on her back leg which broke her leg. The vet put the leg in a soft cast for 8 weeks but unfortunately, her back legs are not as perfectly straight as they were before the accident. Straight legs is a BIG deal in the show halls. We may still decide to show her someday, but we had to give up on expecting the big finals. Until then, we've let her have babies, which she LOVES, LOVES, LOVES! She is a terrific mom!
Handy (Full name is "Grand Champion Curl Essence The Right Hand of the Lord") is a stunning seal lynx point boy. Handy loved going to the shows. He just knew he was pretty and couldn't hear it enough from the spectators at the shows. He would lay on our grooming table outside our benching cage and just pose for people to oooh and aaah over him as they walked by. Handy is super sweet and passes that same sweet personality to all his babies.

Brittany's babies were born on 7/31.
New photos and videos taken 10/9 |
I've got a couple cute videos that I will upload after Geek Squad talks to my computer... I didn't take as many still photos because I took videos of these babies playing... in the meantime, here are a couple new stills of Trixie.

Pictures at 7 weeks... |
We took new pictures of each of Brittany's babies on 9/16. They are 7 weeks old and cute as a button. I tried to get stills and video of each of them but they weren't all cooperative. Trixie, however, was great.

Reserving a kitten from a future litter...
We are taking reservations for future kittens now. We reserve the right for first pick of any of our litters for ourselves to show, however, if you reserve a kitten from a future litter, you will have first pick (after us of course). I keep track of the sequence that I receive Reserved Kitten Agreements and offer kittens in that same sequence.... in other words, the person who has returned the first Reserve Agreement will have first pick of any new litters. After that, the 2nd person who has returned a Reserve Agreement can select a kitten, and so on. Anyone with a Reserve Agreement can wait for another litter if they want to wait for a kitten from another litter if they want, and the same sequence for selecting a specific kitten will still apply.
