Brittany and Handy family...Click any photo to enlarge it.
|
Brittany introduced us to her new family right on schedule on 9/10. She has 1 bright calico girl, 2 silver patched girls, 1 red silver boy and 1 color point boy.
|
Brittany is a bicolor... frequently called a "calico" although that's not an accepted color designation in either CFA or TICA. She is one of our smaller girls and has always, ALWAYS giving us incredible babies in colors and personality. Brittany absolutely ADORES me and she always teaches that same affection for us to her kids. Babies learn a lot from their moms from the day they are born. Babies will model what they see in their moms. Brittany has always taught her babies to welcome our attention from the first times we start to handle them.

"Handy" is a seal lynx point boy. He is a Grand Champion in CFA. We had so much fun showing him. He was absolutely beautiful and he knew it. The judges loved him, but even more than that, people would stop and ooh and ahhh over him whenever we would have his laying on our grooming stand in from of our benching cage. He would just sit there and pose for them as if to say, "Yes, I'm so pretty. Feel free to admire me." Handy has always had a great personality and he always passes that same sweet temperament on to his kids.

Trevor is Brittany's silver and white bicolor boy.
12/11... Trevor is a really light seal and white bicolor. He's a really sweet boy. He likes to be picked up and purrs as soon as soon as he's in our hands. He's also really playful. He appreciates any attention we give him, whether it's just holding him and talking to him or bringing out one of the toys. I have another video of Trevor and Sasha playing with this moving toy. He was very cautious at first, just watching Sasha attack the moving tail. Sasha immediately attacked it... Trevor was really interested but he held back at first. These videos on this page and on Sasha's page were the first time these babies had seen this toy.
The picture of Trevor below and to the left is a good shot of the color of his coat. It's going to stay a light seal. You can barely see the difference between the seal and the white patches. The sort of seem to fade into each other. As I look at these pictures, I can see the sweet, quiet spirit of this little boy. He's such a little lover. He will fit in just about any home... kids, other pets, or as a single pet owner.

11/16... We are trying to get some updated photos for our visitors of all the kittens. They aren't always that cooperative. It's piece of cake to get them to play.. Sometimes, 1 or 2 of the kittens will decide to dominate the play time. When we took these pictures this morning, we had to wake little Trev from a snooze. Trevor is a super snuggler. He will just melt into our hands when we pet him. He's a little quieter than Tess and Sasha, but when we get him alone, he becomes a whole different boy. Trev would probably fit into a home where he will be able to attach to a person and become that person's "velcro cat". Here are the new pics we took this morning. I'll add some in the next couple of days with him playing.
Trevor is such a sweetie. We brought Trevor out with Tess for these photos. We usually try to put 2 kittens together for these pictures so they will have a companion when we bring them into the bathroom for our photo shoot. Tess took to the toy much quicker. Trevor needed some back rubs before he felt comfortable enough to focus on the toy. Usually, the kittens are much harder to shoot photos of at this age, but all of Brittany's kittens were a piece of cake. I usually have to pick and choose which photos to use, but I had trouble deleting ANY of these new pictures. So I can include more pictures for you, I'm ;putting them in a slideshow,
10/12... Therse are our earlier pictures of Trevor. Trev is a silver and white bicolor. He's always been really mellow when Mike would pick him up and carry him around. The other kittens will whin and cry sometimes unless they have all 4 feet planted on Mike's T shirt until they have their feet on the bed, but not Trevor. He might just end up being that really sweet, easy going guy.
