Tiana was born on 1/27. She is a chocolate lynx point girl.

Brittany is a "calico". The CFA and TICA color description is "silver tabby and white"... but for intents and purposes, this is commonly just called a calico.
Brittany is a smaller girl. This is her 2nd litter with Opie. Click on any photo to enlarge it.

Opie is by far the smallest boy we have. He is a chocolate smoke. The "smoke" describes the lighter chocolate ruff around his neck and on his legs and tummy. Opie has consistently given us sweet babies with nice "curl features", like nicely curled ears, large walnut eyes, and soft coat.

Note: We are watching Tiana for an international breeder. It's too early to tell how the ears will curl when she's older. We will usually have a pretty good idea of what kind of curl the ear will have when the American Curl kittens mature. Curl breeders all agree that the ears should not change after 4 mo of age. If you are interested in Tiana, I won't commit her until we can determine whether she will be a top breed/show cat. When we sell a cat to a breeder for breed & show, it's our cattery name in the show hall.... We are really particular about what curls judges will evaluate with in the Curl Essence pedigree.

We graduated Brittany and her babies from the nursery to the large playpen in the master bedroom They were having a ball exploring all the different levels and cubby holes. The kittens are always a kick watching them explore this play area for the first time. I only got a few pics worth posting. We'll take more over the next couple of days.

It's amazing how much these babies have matured since we took the previous photos. This is the 2nd time we brought them out for new pics and video.

We started to bring out just one kitten at a time for these pictures, but quickly realized they were more comfortable with a buddy. These pictures and video are of Tiana and Oreo. I have more pictures and videos of these 2 on Oreos page so go check them out.

Star (a boy) is the lighter of these two babies on the left. Tiana is the chocolate cp on the right. We're watching Star for a potential breed/show cat for our cattery.

2/22 photos... |
I took a number of photos of these kids on 2/22. It was their first time out of their birthing cage so they were more interested in just smelling around rather than trying to play with our toy. A number of my photos of Tiana will be with Tiana and one of the other kittens and will be one of the pages for another kitten.

The chocolate is already starting to show on little Tiana. She also has the "rose colored" paw pads to confirm that she is a true chocolate.

These babies are just 2 weeks old. Their eyes are open and they're crawling all over inside this little 'home". I took several pictures earlier that were on the main Kittens for Sale page.

Check out the little white face on the red boy in the back. That contrast of which around the eyes and checks against the red is going to be really pretty. Since he's already showing this much silver, I suspect he will have a nice silver undercoat when he's older.

The 2 color points are starting to show slightly different colors. The darker one in front is the girl. The brighter white one behind her is the boy.
All the kittens were wandering all over when I put this new bed inside their little "house". The black and white gave me the best face shots. At this age, it's hard to get them to look at the camera. I had just cleaned the cage and added new food for mom which is the only reason Brittany isn't hogging the camera.
