Skeye, Charlotte's silver boy

Both Skeye and Mikita have been the quickest to notice the toys and chase the little mouse on the end of the toy as we teased them for these pictures.  We initially called Skeye a silver but sometimes, the camera brings out a truer color that we don't see unless we have bright natural light.  From these pics, he has more brownish undertones.

New pics 7/6...

I couldn't resist... they were just too cute.

Pics and video taken 7/4...

These babies have had the run to the entire bedroom and bathroom for over a week now.  Usually, the kittens will go back into the large cage and find a place on one of the tall condos for their naps.  Not these guys.  Maybe it's the heat, but we'll usually find them in the middle of the room or on the tile floor in the daytime.  At night, they are on the bed.  I came in just to sit and say hi to the babies.  Once they woke up, they were all in for some 'hands on' time. Usually. if I'm planning to take pictures or videos, I'll ask Mike to come help to entertain them while I take the pictures.  This was just spur of the moment and I was by myself socializing with the kittens.

We took these this morning on 6/24.

We brought Charlotte and her babies into the master bedroom on Monday.  We decided they were ready to have the run of the entire room today... they agreed wholeheartedly.
We don't let the kittens have the run of the entire bedroom until we're pretty sure they are too big to crawl through the wire on the big cage in the masterbedroom.
Once they find out they can have the run of the room, there is usually one in each group that thinks he or she should be able to decide escape when we put them back up at night and if they are just small enough to get their head through but not the shoulders, they get stuck and we're in rescue mode.  Then, eventually, one will decide to climb to the top of the big cage but doesn't know how to get back down.  (It's 12ft high.)  We end up keeping the ladder in the bedroom to rescue the kitten on top of the cage.
In these 3 photos below, Mikita is the darker kitten on the left.  Click any photo to enlarge.

I'm posting this slideshow on each kitten's page.  However, the videos below will not  be duplicated on the different pages because they take so long to upload.  Again, the videos take a really long time to load to our phones so you may want to watch them on your computer rather than on your phones
I have 6 short videos of Charlotte's babies of when we first brought them out of the big cage in the master bedroom and put them on the bed.  I'm posting them on different pages so if you want to see all of them, click on the different pages for Mikita, Skeye, Simba and Shogi.  Keep in mind that this is the firs they have had the run of the entire room.  We'll take new photos of them sometime next week when they have made this room their own.

You can see the difference in the colors of these two silvers.  Mikita is on the left.  Skeye is on the right.  Mikita is also a little bigger than her brother, but that could change as they grow.  It just means she's been more of a chow-hound.  They are all starting eat solid foods and use the litter box.
