Shante is a chocolate lynx point. She has this really pretty light chocolate coat and silver undercoat. She is all "girly-girl". She loves to play, but she's just not as aggressive as the other 3. I have a couple of videos to show you what I mean by that, but when it's just you and Shante, she's a super love and super playful.

We've had these babies in the master bedroom for 4-5 days now. It took them a couple of days to decide they liked the additional space to romp and play, but they're loving it now. So we decided to bring them out on the bed today to play with them on the bed. Shante was a little timid at first. The 2 boys (Preston and Jasper) were ready to attack the toys as soon as we put them on the bed. Chantelle and Shante took a little longer to get into the game. Shante's color is getting darker, because of that, she's losing all the "lynx point" coloring. We're going to register her as a chocolate tabby. She's not going to be a really dark chocolate. She's going to be more of a milk chocolate. You should like these cute photos of her.
I have other videos that have Shante in them. One is one Preston's page and 1 is on Jasper's page. You'll enjoy all 3.

We brought Shante and Chantelle out together for these photos. We find that when we bring the kittens out for individual photos, they are more comfortable if they have a buddy with them.

These are of Chantelle and Shante together. I took a couple with me holding their little faces for you to see them because they were so focused on just walking around and investigating that I had trouble getting them to look up so I could shoot their little faces. But once I got my hands on them, they were perfectly happy to just sit in one place and have me rub their little backs. Chantelle is the silver patched on the left. Chantelle is sold.

First photos with eyes open taken on 8/29.
We tried to get some face shots of each of the babies but I was thrilled with what we ended up with. Rather than to try and pick a specific photo for each baby's face, I decided to just include a slideshow with group shots. I included a couple individual face shots but at this age, it was hard to get even these. The video below shows them best. This entire group is already very friendly, but really, I have to give the credit for that to mom. It's impossible to get photos of these babies when she's around because she wants all the attention. The plus side for that small inconvenience is that she is teaching her babies to want my attention too. You'll see how they already melt into my hands when I'm rubbing them.
Reserving a kitten ...
We are taking reservations for future kittens now. We reserve the right for first pick of any of our litters for ourselves to show, however, if you reserve a kitten from a future litter, you will have first pick (after us of course). I keep track of the sequence that I receive Reserved Kitten Agreements and offer kittens in that same sequence.... in other words, the person who has returned the first Reserve Agreement will have first pick of any new litters. After that, the 2nd person who has returned a Reserve Agreement can select a kitten, and so on. Anyone with a Reserve Agreement can wait for another litter if they want to wait for a kitten from another litter if they want, and the same sequence for selecting a specific kitten will still apply.
