Raven... |
Raven is a seal torti lynx point girl. You can see the little white blotch on her back foot and the white splash on her nose. This little girl is just too cute for words. Her personality is as cute as these pictures. She was born on 7/15.

We decided to take this quick video during half time while watching football on Sunday afternoon. Raven loves to sit in our laps whenever we're on the LR sofa. When I start petting her, she will usually nibble on my nose with I stop to tell me she's not done. She's one of the more affectionate kittens we have right now.... Kayle Shea comes in #2. We took a short video of her too.

Photos taken today to compare show features of Raven compared to Rogue. In my opinion, ears on both girls aren't as tall as Grace likes but they fit their faces nicely... they have good balance. I think Rogue's ears have a better curvature than Raven. Profiles are the same on both... flat nose with nice rise into forehead.

Raven's little splash of white on her nose is cute but as she's maturing, it's not as dominate as it was when she was younger so I don't really think it's going to give her an edge over Rogue. Personalities on both will be great for showing. They are outgoing and VERY playful.

I wanted to get recent photos of all the kittens available before I head off to the big TICA show next week in Las Vegas. These are of Raven.

I really wanted to take a few better face shots of Raven but she just wasn't going to cooperate with me. I decided to settle on the video below. Raven is a go-getter. We have these kittens in the master bedroom upstairs with the door closed so they won't fall over the balcony to the downstairs and hurt themselves.

It's getting to be a real challenge to get in the room these days and close the door without any escapees. They hear the door opening and they all JAM (literally!) to the open door to meet us. Typically, if we leave the door open for a few minutes most will come right back in because they really just want to see us. I'll sit down on the chair at my desk, and all these cute little faces will line up at my feet. I can only get 3 on my lap at a time... the rest will just sit there at my feet and wait their turn to get little back rubs. It's really getting hard to get any work done at my desk. These kitties love, love, love! there humans!
From serious playmyster that won't let go of the toy....
Raven and Rogue are two peas in a pod. They are both seal torti points, but they have individual distinct markings. Raven has this little white foot and white streak on her nose. This little girl was NOT going to let go of this toy. This little mouse is a favorite of all the cats. It seems to be just the right size. We've bought a number of these, but I think this is the only one left with the mouse attached. You can see why in the video below. Raven goes from aggressive player to mush when you pick her up to love on her.

…. To JelloAs soon as Mike picked her up so I could get a still shot of her face, she turned into jello in his hands. The top picture is of him rubbing the top of her head. Below is of him still holding her between head rubs.

We had just let the kittens have the run of the bedroom. We have since pulled mom away from them so they will attach more to us. I'll have new pictures posted showing their development by the first of next week.

The videos below are of Raven and KayleShea. Raven is a seal torti point girl. I will post individual photos of Kayle Shea tomorrow morning. I've got to get away from cat photos for awhile. Raven is the darker one in the video on the left. Kayle Shea is the light seal and white bicolor.
Click the bottom right corner with the diagonal arrows to go to a full screen for the video. Then, just exit out when done. |
Kayle Shea photos are on Buttercup's litter page. We brought her out with Raven for these photos. Click the link below to see Kayle Shea's pics.

When the babies are old enough for us to let mom have some time away from them is when we can "socialize" them more to their human friends.
