Belle is fantastic example of what we are looking for in an American Curl female... she's got the size, ears, eyes, profile... you name it.

11/21.. I thought I should add a few thoughts I had about what kind of home Kevin would do best in. Kevin is VERY playful. If there are no other cats around who want to play, he will go looking for something to entertain himself with. Because of that, a family with kids would be outstanding. Kids always want to play with the cat and he would be more than happy to oblige them at every opportunity. That being said, if you don't have kids, another younger cat who is looking for a playmate, or someone who is willing to take the time to spend time with him, buy him toys, etc. The other thing I have to say is that he a really GOOD boy! He knows what is ok to play with and where cats are allowed and where they aren't (and, yes, we do have places where the cats are not allowed to go... for instance the kitchen counter where I fix food). He knows his name and comes when you call him... He's always, always, always open to human attention whether it's to be petted or to play. He also knows and responds to the word 'no'. It doesn't have to be loud, just "No Kevin" and he willingly will move on to something else to entertain himself with. Kevin is just one of those happy go-lucky boys that you want to hang out with, if for no other reason than that he's enjoys any attention he can get from us. Everyday is filled with sunshine and happiness... That's Kev. ....I just thought I would add these few thoughts that came to me this morning. We are with him all the time and we recognize these things in his personality. I thought I should share with our visitors.
11/14... I took a couple of impromptu videos of Kevin in the morning. In the ones with the tunnel, he was just trying to find something to entertain himself with. Kevin is such a good natured little boy... and I do mean "little boy". I had originally called him Lucas for the website, but Mike decided his personality reminded him of Kevin in the movie Home Alone. He just reminds us of an 8-10 yr old boy who is all boy. Kevin gets alone with all the other cats in the house and will play with the younger ones who are still into games. Sometimes, we have to rescue him because he doesn't realize that he's too small to be a real challenge when the adult cats get going and they over power him. He will stay in the game anyway. He just makes a lot of noise until we decide to call a time out so they can reset and start their game again. I took these quick videos just to show you what I'm trying to describe. In this case, the picture is worth more than 1000 words. In the videos with the tube, I'm trying to keep my voice down so I won't distract him. If he hears me talking, he will stop and come see me. In the last ones, that's exactly what he did.
11/8... we took several new photos of Kevin today plus a couple of short videos. I apologize for not posting recent photos and videos of Kevin all this time. I honestly just forget that he's available for sale because he just fits in with the other cats so well. Kevin would fit in just about any home environment... kids, pets, you name it. He's just fun, fun, fun, and incredibly even tempered. He's been loose in the house for over a month. He loves to run and play chase with any cat in the house that will join him in his games. Below is a slideshow of pictures we took this morning. The videos are below the slideshow. Oh, I didn't mention why we changed his name. Here's the story. I called him Lucas when I posted his younger pics. But sometimes, when a kitten starts interacting with us more, a new name just seems to fit better. Mike decided that Kevin's personality reminded him of the Kevin character in the Home Alone movies. I agreed. It just seemed to fit. Kev knows his name and will come running when he hears us call him. Mike calls him a "lap warmer" which also fits. He will park himself on Mike's lap in the FR when Mike is watching TV.
