We showed Daphney in TICA rather than in CFA. We were showing exclusively in CFA when we were showing Handy. Daphney is a Grand Champion in TICA. The judges were very impressed with her but we decided to breed her for her super soft coat and size rather than run her for the bigger titles.
Daphney Litter born 2/12/17
This is Curl Essence Daphney Curl. Daphney is a seal and white bi color. She is a light seal marbled with bright with bright white on most of her body. Her face has the dark lynx point markings with deep blue eyes.
Curl Essence The Right Hand of the Lord or "Handy" as we call him. Handy is a Grand Champion, Regional Winner and National Winner. He is just the sweetest boy. He loved showing. He would sit out on our grooming stand and gloat as people would stop and admire him. He was fully aware of the compliments and ate them up. He has always passed on that sweet disposition in all of his babies.
Handy is a seal lynx point Handy is on the banner above.

It's amazing how much they have grown and changed just since we took the last group of photos. (I'm loving what I see in the development of these two pretty little girls.) I have some videos too, but I need to get all the stills posted first. The videos take much longer to upload and I want to get photos for everyone up first... then the fun kitten videos.
The photos directly below were taken on 3/20. The lower ones were taken on 3/12... WOW what a difference a week makes!
The slideshow below is Shaniah, Gabriella (Gabriella is sold) & Tabatha (Tabatha is also sold).
Sorry, the last photo in the slideshow above says Tabatha, Gabriella, Tabatha. That's wrong. Shaniah is on the left, Gabriella in the middle and Tabatha on the right. I'll fix that next week after the show this weekend.
It's afternoon naptime for these babies. I just woke them up for videos of these two. This is the first time they've been downstairs. We put them on the kitchen counter on this gold rug.
Videos of Shaniah and Gabriella taken Sunday 3/12
Gabriella and Tabatha are SOLD
You will see us struggling to keep them from walking off the counter and keeping the adult cats out of the picture. First Belle came over to see the babies. She is Tiffany's mom so she was very concerned about the baby sounds. Then Sophie, them Storm... etc.
The top video is mostly Gabriella. The one below is mostly Shaniah. You can see more white on Shaniah and her overall body color is lighter. She has white on the face much like Tabatha, but Tabatha's markings are darker and more distinct. You can see the white on Shaniah's back almost like a collar + white on her chest and front legs.
In the video above, you see Shaniah mostly, then Gabriella comes into the picture from the left. I don't know if Shaniah was interested in the smells on the rug or just the feel of it. The one thing we've noticed about this entire litter is how sensual they all are. They just love to be touched and rubbed. We've been handling them a lot since they were born so that could be why. But really, they just love to be picked up and handled.
I took this last video real quick only because one of the babies started purring from Mike rubbing her on her back with the feather. Mike thought it was Gabriella. But by the time I got the video started, she stopped. I really wanted to get it on the video. You would have loved it.
George and Tabatha Video taken 3/13
George is SOLD
Tabatha and Travis video taken 3/14
These videos are of Tabatha and the kitten I previously named Megan -- now Travis. When we took them out for this video, Mike decided I had gotten the sex wrong. I concurred. It makes sense because when I put them in the 8' run yesterday, this guy was the boldest of the group. He was the first to explore the far end of the cage. You can see in these videos why it's so hard to get good video at this age. They are just all over the place trying to investigate.
Travis is SOLD
I wish these were better videos. At this age, it's easier for me to get good stills, but the babies are just learning to checkout their environment. I have a couple toys in their cage too, but as yet, I haven't seen any of them playing with the toys. In fact, I don't see them wrestling with each other much either. Give them another week and this will change. It's amazing the growth in just a week with these little guys.
