Anne Hath-A-Curl Anne is no longer available
These photos of Scarlet were taken on 4/29... Scarlet is 3 months old. I wasn't thrilled with the photos, but the video below shows her personality and coloring better than the still shots.
Anne is the light colored color point with the little dark "tear drop" below the left eye. It looks like a stain, but it's not.
The lighting is really bad in the photo above. I was laying on the bed watching TV and Scarlett curled up at my feet for a snooze. I took a closeup in the photo below. I included this so you could see the way she just snuggles next to us. If either of us are in the bedroom either watching TV or reading, it won't take long for one or more of the babies to decide to come up and lay next to us.
I can't even tell you how hard it is to get these photos posted with the babies in the room. The computer I use is in the bedroom. Mike's computer is downstairs. He gets to deal with the adult cats, but at least they leave you alone if you toss them down a couple of times.... not so with the babies. It doesn't matter how many times I toss them down, they are like one of those paddle balls attached to a paddle by a string. They just bounce right back. I can toss them down and they are right back again... They crawl up my front, then walk across the keypad, then up my back. Then they walk across my shoulders onto the desk and back again. It's really cute... except when you're trying to get something done.
The videos below show several of the babies playing with a toy. We pulled Sunshine into the game after a little coaxing... He was on the floor at first. You will see Anne, Dakota, Sunshine, Scarlet Ripley, and Spot in the 2nd video below.
Dakota... cream lynx girl
I've had several requests for additional photos of some of the babies so I took several videos to highlight some of the babies. One is the first video above of Sunshine, Spot and Anne. The one below has the same group but Dakota joined the game. Dakota is the most active of all these kitties, but she is a little slow to join in with this toy. They pulled the little "tail" out and one of them ran off with it or I would take more videos. Usually when they do this, I can look around and find one of the kitties playing with it. It seems to have disappeared or now. I have no doubt that one of the kittens will find it in the next day or two so I can put it back with the toy.
