Curl Essence In Light of His Glory... or "Glory" for short.
Glory is a red and white bicolor. We never showed Glory. Some cats just don't have the personality the judges want to see in the show halls. Glory, however, is a new bloodline we had been developing for years out of our Curlniques lines. |

Bellabee and Glory. Bellabee had 2 babies on Sunday morning 4/26. Both are dark with silver undercoat. We won't check for sex on these 2 babies for at least a week or two.
Bellabee's chocolate boy is SOLD. His name is Baelish. I plan to make a separate page for him in the next week or so. His new page with new pictures and videos will under the SOLD dropdown menu. Whenever a kitten is sold, I will note that on the Kittens for Sale page and as soon as the kitten has a separate page, all new photos and videos will be under SOLD so people interested in one of kittens are not confused about which ones are available.

Brittany saves the day
4/26... We had planned to put Bellabee in a birthing cage in the nursery Saturday night. We knew she was close, but when we tried to put her in the birthing cage in the nursery, it seemed to stress so much that we decided to just watch her on Sunday. As it turned out, we got up Sunday morning to find that she had gone into a cabinet and had 2 babies. I cleaned out the cabinet and put a bowl of water and food, plus litter box under the cabinet for her, blocked the doors so she was safe and went to church. When we got home, she kept trying to leave them to be with Mike.... Well, this would not do. It the kittens were in a nursery cage where we would know they are safe, we would have let her come and go, but not with them in this cabinet. We couldn't leave them there because any of the other adult cats could squeeze into the cabinet any time we weren't standing guard. So we tried to move her and the babies into the birthing cage in the nursery. She immediately tried to pick one of them up to move them and ended dropping the kitten into the water bowl. We tried several things to find a place that would be safe that mom would approve of with no success. The first 24-48 hours after the kittens are born are crucial. They need to nurse. They need to be kept warm by mom's body heat.... and on and on. I tried to bottle feed them but they wouldn't drink from the bottle. Finally, as a last resort Sunday evening, I decided to put them in with Brittany's babies and cross my fingers. Brittany's babies were a week older and much bigger. These 2 newborns were going to have to compete for nipples. Brittany was such a champ! She immediately started licking these newborns to welcome them into the family. We checked on them every couple of hours for the next few of days. We could see that they were putting on weight and snuggling with Brittany's 4 babies. 6 kittens is a lot for Brittany. I immediately started supplementing her food with a high protein wet food and BioCoat. 5 days later and the babies are doing great. Bellabee doesn't seem to miss the babies but her hormones are a little wacky. She won't leave Mike alone and insists on laying on top of him or near him all the time. We're coddling her all the time. while we wait for her hormones will settle down.
6./19. I try to take a couple of pictures of the kittens every couple of days. Some are worth posting and some aren't. I thought these were cute. I hope you do too.
6/16... Bellabee's 2 babies are out exploring the master bedroom along with Brittany's 4 little ones. For the most part, these 2 babies stick together which makes total sense. There's a significant size difference between Baelish (Brittany's boy) and Mindy (Bellabee's girl) and Brittany's 4 babies. These 2 are just as strong and healthy as Brittany's 4... just smaller. I'll have new photos for you to look at all of 6 of these babies (hopefully) tomorrow when we let them out to play in the room again. We let them have the run of the room this morning, but it's always the same with our kittens. They get so excited at all the new places to romp and run when we first let them have the run of the entire bedroom and bathroom, they run full speed all around. Every pictures is nothing but a blur and we can't keep them in a frame long enough to even take a video worth looking at. Tomorrow will be better.
5/18... I took these 2 pictures this morning when I was shooting Brittany's babies, but these 2 babies are still 2 small to bring out so I just shot them inside the cage while they were sleeping. Brittany is taking really good care of them. One is a boy and one is a girl. I tried to wake them up just enough to show their faces.

I posted this photo on Brittany's page too, but this pic shows Bellabee's little dark babies. Brittany is taking great care of them, and they are happy as clams snuggling with Brittany's babies.
Reserving a kitten from a future litter...
We are taking reservations for future kittens now. We reserve the right for first pick of any of our litters for ourselves to show, however, if you reserve a kitten from a future litter, you will have first pick (after us of course). Anyone with a Reserve Agreement can wait for future litter if they want to wait for a kitten from another litter .
